HopMate strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), grooming, sexual violence, harassment, and any illegal or harmful content or conduct.
Prohibited Content & Conduct
- Any CSAE content (images, videos, text, links, or references), grooming, or solicitation of minors.
- Non-consensual sexual content, harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or violent content.
- Distribution of illegal materials, promotion of self-harm, or any exploitation or trafficking.
Detection & Moderation
- Automated and manual moderation for flags related to sexual content, grooming risk, and harassment.
- User reporting and blocking built into chat and profiles; repeat abuse leads to suspension or ban.
- Escalation of suspected CSAE to relevant authorities per applicable laws.
Enforcement
- Immediate removal of violating content and suspension or termination of offending accounts.
- Preservation of evidence and cooperation with law enforcement for CSAE or other illegal activity.
- Device/account bans for repeat or severe violations.
User Controls
- Report and block tools on profiles and chats.
- Profile privacy controls; abuse reporting reviewed promptly.
Data Handling
- Minimal data retention; content removed on policy violations.
- Information shared with authorities only when legally required or to prevent harm.
